*Naszym pierwszym naturalnym środowiskiem był świat roślin. Rośliny są nadal integralną częścią ludzkiego świata. Termin „biofilia” został użyty po raz pierwszy przez naukowca Uniwersytetu Harvarda, Edwarda Osborne’a Wilsona i odnosi się do emocjonalnego związku ludzi z naturą i innymi żywymi organizmami. Związek ten jest wrodzony i dziedziczny. Biofilia jest przywiązaniem do natury, podstawą pozytywnych reakcji na naturę.

*Our first natural environment was the world of plants. The plants are still an integral part of the human world. The term „biophilia” was used for the first time by the Harvard University scientist, Edward Osborne Wilson and refers to the emotional relationship between people and nature and other living organisms. It is innate and inherited. Biophilia is attachment to nature, the basis for the positive reactions to nature.
