Kast van een Huis is the furniture brand of This is Dutch. This brand is inspired on the architecture of characteristic buildings.
The Amsterdam Collection is famous for its cabinets in the shape of Old Dutch gablehouses. The Bellgable-, Stairgable- and Neckgable houses are transformed as cabinets with multifunctional purpose. We can store books, toys, clothes or other things into these houses or build a “street” of storage as a roomdivider.
The furniture of This is Dutch is of outstanding quality. It is timeless in production and design. Made for children and adults. It comes in various types, sizes and 8 standardcolours. Customised colours also possible.
In 2014 the Amsterdam serie cabinets became part of the permanent collection of the Philadelphia Museum of Art and elected as one of the best designs for children in the last decades.

Kast van een Huis to linia mebli produkowanych przez This is Dutch. Kolekcja została zainspirowana architekturą charakterystycznych budynków.
Kolekcja Amsterdam słynie z szaf w kształcie starych holenderskich budynków. Domy Bellgable, Stairgable i Neckgable służą jako szafy wielofunkcyjne. Możemy w nich przechowywać książki, zabawki, ubrania lub inne rzeczy lub też zbudować całą „ulicę” z szaf i przedzielić nimi pokój na zasadzie parawanu.

Występują w kilku rodzajach i rozmiarach oraz 8 standardowych kolorach. Możliwa jest również personalizacja kolorów na życzenie klienta.
W 2014 roku szafy z serii Amsterdam zostały częścią stałej kolekcji Filadelfijskiego Muzeum Sztuki i wybrano je jako jeden z najlepszych projektów dla dzieci w ostatnich dekadach.
