Heading into its 10th year, Bubble London, the UK’s leading trade show for kids’ fashion and lifestyle, continues to discover a host of new talent while ensuring key brand returns and engaging content for its a/w 18 edition. We are very pleased that our online service kikimora has also become the media partner of the 18th edition of the fair.
Confirming its position as the UK’s launchpad for new and home-grown talent, this season’s line-up of new signings includes flat-caps and scarves from Artimus London; a minimalist and gender-neutral offering from British designed clothing and lifestyle brand, Kidult & Co; children’s luxury hair and skincare by Dandydill Way; contemporary British clothing brand Another Fox, which focuses on abstract prints and fashion basics; and newly launched label Wildchild London, offering genderless, urban and unconventional clothing for 3-9 year olds, which is also designed and manufactured in Britain.
Meanwhile, global players making a return to Bubble for a/w 18 include Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, Arauto-RAP, Bobux, Kissy Kissy, Kite, Mar Mar Copenhagen, Mayoral, Pretty Originals, Rachel Riley, Wedoble and Weekend a la Mer. Other key signings include 4FunkyFlavours, Angulus, Alba of Denmark, Barn of Monkeys, Dotty Dungarees, Froddo, Jam London and Mp Denmark.
Continuing to add to the show’s diversified line-up is Bump, Bubble’s platform for maternity and nursery collections. This season’s offering includes Bullabaloo, Blossom & Bear, Cradle & Tonic, Mori Baby, Harry & Rose, House of Bibs, Petit Stellou and Squidge & Pip.
A/w 18 is also set to mark the exciting return of Bubble Runway, providing visitors with the opportunity to see the new season’s key collections brought to life. Catwalk presentations are scheduled to run throughout the two-day show – three times on Sunday and twice on Monday – with collections modelled by some special mini celebrity guests.
Also making a return for a/w 18 is Bubble’s ever-popular Rising Star competition. Open to new signings showcasing their first wholesale collection, it provides a unique springboard for fledgling brands to boost their profiles, engage with retailers, gain invaluable feedback and potentially win a free stand at next season’s show.
Bubble’s a/w 18 programme of exclusive, exhibitor-only competitions also includes the Stand Out Competition. An award for the show’s most creative, effective and well-designed stand, Stand Out will be judged by Bubble’s own expert team. Every brand will be in the running, with the winner receiving a full, season-long trade marketing package: a banner on the Bubble website, a dedicated e-shot, a blog post, social media coverage, and a full page advert in CWB Magazine.
Other key features for a/w 18 include lively panel discussions, an engaging seminar programme and new collaborations, launches and exclusives and presentations for the finalist and winners of CWB Independent Retail Awards 2017.
Bubble London takes place on 28-29 January at the Business Design Centre, Islington. For further information visit bubblelondon.com.
